The Veterans Memorial Hall was designed by Henry H. Meyers in 1932, and completed construction in 1933. It was established for American Veterans of Foreign Wars, and was especially dedicated to those who served in WWI. Above the entrance is a sculpture of a WWI soldier known as a doughboy. The hall underwent a $4.5 million renovation, completed in 2006.
